Doctors

Drs. Carrie Nemec and Jeff Nevin are the co-owners of the practice. They are dedicated to the profession and to setting the standards for feline veterinary medicine. They graduated from veterinary college at the University of Illinois in 1985 and have practiced small animal medicine in California, Florida, and Washington. Dr. Nemec joined the practice in 1995 and Dr. Nevin in 1998. They celebrate their marriage of over 30 years now and enjoy their three boys together.

Dr. Kimberly Mahoney hails from the suburbs of Chicago and received a degree in biology from the University of Iowa before attending the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois. After graduation, she relocated to Seattle and is happy to have joined the doctors and staff at the Cat Clinic of Seattle. Her professional interests include dentistry, surgery, and both preventative and internal medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her Labrador mix, Tucker, and cat, Addison.

Veterinary Technicians

Our licensed veterinary technicians are certified by rigorous standards. All take pride in being able to perform highly skilled procedures while keeping your cat purring at the same time. From performing anesthesia, dental cleaning, setting intravenous catheters, and administering chemotherapies to training clients to administer medications at home, our technicians are experts in feline care with a large dose of compassion.

About Our Clinic

Our Medical Philosophy

Your cat deserves the best. This is the simple principle of the Cat Clinic of Seattle. Your pet will receive all the benefits of our technologically advanced facility, a cats-only environment, and a caring, experienced staff. We’re all cat-lovers and it shows.

Our Standards

The Cat Clinic holds a place of honor within American Animal Hospital Association and the veterinary profession. Only 14% of the veterinary practices throughout the United States and Canada have made the commitment to voluntarily participate in an on-site evaluation based on the highest standards in veterinary medicine. The Cat Clinic is evaluated every three years on over 800 standards, proving a strong desire to provide high quality medicine and topnotch client service. We are proud to have been an accredited member now since 1981.
